Food Equipment and Safety Training

Massachusetts Food Equipment and Safety Training (FEAST) is a collaborative project between the Massachusetts Department of Education and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst to help school food service program personnel in improve child nutrition programs through enhancing food sanitation and safety education.

FEAST Fact sheets and Teaching Tips provide a framework for food service personnel to increase knowledge of proper equipment operation and cleaning procedures and improve safe food handling and equipment practices.

 

All food safety education materials are consistent with Massachusetts Department of Public Health,
Food Protection Program, FDA and USDA regulations and messages.
